Len, I truly can relate to your article. I am not a church going Bible pounder, but believe most fervently that what the Bible says is true, that God breathed the Spirit/breath of life into each of us which is His Spirit and remains forever within us, knowing all that we feel and think and is there to guide us if we only listen, and ask for guidance. We don't *have to listen; He gave us Free Will to make our own choices. We are not always able to hear our inner self (God's guiding Spirit within us) or *choose *not to hear if these inner warnings/pointers are against our carnal desires, so we use our right to free will and ignore this inner voice and suddenly we find ourselves on a path or two of emotional, physical, or moral destruction.
All our lives, from the time we are released from the womb, we want love and attention. We cry for it. It doesn't always come. We often feel rejected. Even in the best of homes there is competition for attention. Like the little baby, we cry for attention, not with our larynx, but with our actions, and we devise ways to get attention. Many of us try drugs, booze or sex or marry someone even though there are warning signs within ones very soul not to go that way. But the desperation too find that nice comfortable place where one can feel loved and wanted, will transcend the will to listen to His will.
This is why prayer/meditation in ALL things, staying in touch with our inner Spirit in good as well as bad times, is so important.
Where is the Spirit of the Creator of Heaven and Earth? Within each of us. He is omnipotent.
GWG
respectfully and with love, Lee

> HERE IS SOMETHING TO CHEW ON:
> We all have a spiritual being who his guiding us through this period called life. Religion calls this our guardian Angel. Spirituality calls it our inner being. Now here is the problem this entity does not communicate with us in words because words can have a double meaning. It communicates with us through feelings. There are only two feelings, one feels good and one feels bad. Think back on circumstances when you had a bad feeling about something but you ignored the feeling and went with it anyway because it looked good only to find out it was a disaster. No one can show you the way you must rely on your inner feelings, trust it, don't second guess it and don't share it with anyone they are on their own path. This may take a little practice, try something simple take a big piece of cake before you bite into it note how YOU FEEL, if it feels good enjoy it, if it feels bad put it back.
