Fort Wilderness is the campground. Wilderness Lodge is a hotel reminiscent of a national parks lodge (I want to say Yellowstone but not 100% sure of that one). Not sister resorts. But the Villas of Wilderness Lodge are part of the DVC located at Wilderness Lodge.
I've eaten at Olivia's in Oct of '07 - Very good food, limited menu though. I ate lunch there twice and had different things and they were all very good.
Trails End - I've heard good and bad although I've never eaten there. From what I understand, if you're on the DDP probably not the best use of it. This is usually recommended as a cheaper place to eat on property. You would need to use the internal bus system to get to it if I remember where it's at from when I've stayed there.
Never eaten at Turf Club but I've heard good things about it from quite a few different people.

Terrie, thanks for the reply. Now here is this question, I am confused between the difference and similarities in the names. I went to the one with the Hoop de do, what is the difference between Fort Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge? Are they sister resorts? I know the one with the hoop de do has a boat ride connection to the magic Kingdom,BruceSent: Saturday, February 23, 2008 3:39 PMSubject: Re: [travel-wdw] dinning

So here are the places I am thinking of trying. I like to hear about your dinning experience and how close or far it is from any of the theme parks.Big River Grille at the BoardwalkThe food here is fair. It's overpriced and the atmosphere sucks. JMHOTrails end at the Fort Wilderness resort (how close or far from Wilderness lodge resort?)We love this place because of the price. If you are on the dining plan though, not enough bang for your buck.Grand Floridian Cafe at the Grand FloridianHaven't beenOlivia's cafe at Old Key WestWe haven't been there since it was a character meal.Turf Club at Saratoga SpringsHaven't been yet but might be good for lunch.Captains Grille at Yacht and Beach clubWe went here for my b-day last week. The menu is limited and I picked it because DH is on a diet. Nothing special.Whispering canyon cafe at wilderness lodgeAnother one of our faves!Bruce
