No argument with your choices especially Four Tops' "Can't Help Myself" -
there are certain tunes which get you smiling or moving or just feeling good
:-)
By the way, I meant to ask about your comment in a previous post that you
are a professional writer for magazines (?) Where are your articles/stories
published? Just wondering whether I would have read them before without
realising I "knew" the author! Warm regards,
Royd

Okay, as an ex DJ, I can play this game. Although my tastes are strange to
some, no doubt.
The Hollies - "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" - all time favorie song.
The Righteous Brothers - "You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling"
The Four Tops _ "Can't Help Myself [ Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch ]"
The Beatles - "Yesterday" or "I Saw Her Standing There" - like 'em equally
Jay & the Americans - "Walking in the Rain"
I could list thousands of songs and the reasons I like them. But these are
ones I can listne to over and over again.
Honorable mention - BJ Thomas _ "Rock and Roll Lullaboy".
