Wilderness Lodge is not at the campground. You pass Wilderness Lodge when you take a bus to MK. It's the stoplight just before the CR, just before you go down the little hill to go under the waterway bridge. You turn right to get the WL and left takes you past MK and the Poly. You can take a boat to WL from MK. They might be all on the same route. Or they could be split depending on which season you go. If you took a boat to Ft Wilderness, then you passed by WL on the right. CR is on the left and just past that but before Discovery Island on the right is WL.

Fort Wilderness is the campground. Wilderness Lodge is a hotel reminiscent of a national parks lodge (I want to say Yellowstone but not 100% sure of that one). Not sister resorts. But the Villas of Wilderness Lodge are part of the DVC located at Wilderness Lodge.

I've eaten at Olivia's in Oct of '07 - Very good food, limited menu though. I ate lunch there twice and had different things and they were all very good.

Trails End - I've heard good and bad although I've never eaten there. From what I understand, if you're on the DDP probably not the best use of it. This is usually recommended as a cheaper place to eat on property. You would need to use the internal bus system to get to it if I remember where it's at from when I've stayed there.

Never eaten at Turf Club but I've heard good things about it from quite a few different people.

[Bedlington-L] New Member Intro

Hello! I am new to this group. I do not have a Bedlington, but am
doing research on breeds as I plan to add a second breed to my
family in a few years. I have always been intrigued by the looks of
the Bedlington and decided that this was one of the best places to
find out about them—from the people who know them and love them.﷯﷯
﷯﷯Currently, I have two Bearded Collies and my 13 year-old son has a
Beagle, a rescue. I waited a long time to get a Beardie after I
first saw one in person at a show and never once regretted the wait
as Riley's temperament is everything that a Beardie's should be. I
had shown Riley in conformation, but he turned out a bit too small.
He enjoys coming with me to school (I teach first grade) one day per
year when I present a dog bite prevention program to our first
graders. I am also involved in Beardie Rescue and am the Indiana
Coordinator. Claire, my second Beardie, is a rescue that came with
some interesting "quirks," so she just stayed and has become a part
of our family. I used to teach puppy classes, but as my son grew, so
did his sports schedule, so I know that this is NOT a good time to
add a Bedlington or any other puppy to our family as our schedules
are much too hectic So, I've got lots of time to do research, decide
if a Bedlington is right for me, and find a breeder with whom I feel
comfortable. When I have the time to socialize my puppy, attend
classes, and do all the things that a "new puppy mom" needs to do to
ensure that the puppy will grow into a well adjusted family member,
then I'll be informed and ready to bring my new family member home. ﷯﷯
﷯﷯I'm sure that I've have lots of questions as my search progresses,
but I'll just start with a couple for now. :)﷯﷯
I have always preferred male dogs. 1)Is there any big difference in
the temperament of male vs. female Bedlingtons? 2)All the adult dogs
that I have seen appear to have fairly light-colored coats, but in
all the puppy pictures I've seen, the puppies appear very dark. Do
Bedlington coats lighten as they age? (or have I just been looking
at the wrong pictures? LOL) ﷯﷯

This past weekend at the Brandon show, Torrin a Rough Collie I own finished his Championship on his 3rd weekend out. He finished with a Grp. 3rd & the next day as a new special he took the group & was the crowd favorite... In 3 weekends he got BPIS, 2 Group 3rd & a Grp. 1st & got three 4 Pt. majors. He is handled by my 15 year old daughter Brittaney.
Candra his littermate owned & handled by Laurie Dodge also finished her Championship.
Torrin turned a yr old on Feb. 14th & was part of a litter of 6 pups I looked after & I tube fed round the clock for the first 10 days till he & his siblings were strong enough to nurse on their own..
We also put 6 Pts. on our new apricot toy poodle Lil'Boy & only need 2 more pts. to finish his half sister Emily a blk toy poodle.
